i seriously dun understand y some singaporeans must treat their maid so badly... pls sit down and ponder over the maid issues. without your maid, you're just another lazy bum who'll not do housework as perfect as what u WANT the maid to do...and dun tell me you will put in 100% of your time and effort and excel in your job everyday?? why must expect the best out of them in watever they do? u need a break from the long hours facing the com, they too need a break facing the naggy employer and facing the same house everyday(fyi: most indonesians maid do not have off days. they work 365 days per year). so once in awhile when they slack or laze, u nag and complain.

and sometimes do u ever wonder we Singaporeans might be the cause of how they behave? they must have heard bout the ugly side of how singaporeans are in their hometown and are advised not to work that hard.. y?? they will be expected to maintain or do even better, if not, again will nag and complain say they lazy or getting from bad to worse..

pls note, most of them came from the village areas, they have their own styles of living..they live in a slow pace environment and of course will do things slower than the 'singaporean' pace...if they can finish their housework by end day, why bother? just let them do the way they are comfortable with la..moreover, if they do faster = finish their work earlier. base on my understanding about typical singaporeans, u will tasked them with more work.. back to your working environement. if u noe your boss will do that to you, would you still be that efficient?

of course the above does not refer to all singaporeans la..there are still good souls around...but one thing i did think about is that i'm not the one who really face the maid the whole day so i cant really feel and see how jia lat they are. maybe, but most likely won't la, if one day i really spend a day with my maid i will vomit blood and behave the same way too!!
